Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)

www.acc.co.nz

NZASA has been recognised in the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) Act since 2005, and therefore NZASA’s registered acupuncturists can become ACC Treatment Providers.

This means a person on ACC can be referred to a registered acupuncturist and have part, or all, of their fee for treatment covered by ACC.  The amount ACC will cover depends on the specific details of that person’s claim.

ACC provides comprehensive, no-fault personal injury cover for all NZ residents and visitors to NZ.  As an ACC treatment provider, you are able to treat people and claim your fees (or part-fees) directly from ACC.
